I hope, however, that their willfull ignorance has not slowed us down so much that it is too late.

perhaps though… we needed a huge dose of reality to force us ALL to come to that awareness… by all.. I mean the magic number of folks that will tip the scales into our favor of saving this planet and the survival of our planet in sustainable ways.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Jay-Z As Frank Lucas? Rockers Got Jokes? Can't Ban The ...

And to be honest, Lil Wayne did not do the track justice, and didn't come harder than JP and Versatile on that track. 2 fuckin years later he drops "PMW" ! If you wanna check it out you can find it on www.allhiphop.com under Mediazone. The industry is shady!

We, as local artists, have to work 10 times as hard, just to get heard by the industry. And then when you do get heard, 9 out of 10 times we get fucked over. Get ya shit copyrighted, trademarked, and if any Producer gives you a beat in your f**kin' hand and says here it's yours, spit over it. Get it in writing! Between the money we put into the professional recording and mixing of that track, promoting the song, it being played on the hottest radio station on the Gulf Coast, and that whole Miami trip, yeah we got fucked over!

Like I said, "I ain't co-signing s**t!"

DEEMI? WHERE IS MY VIDEO?

So, I caught a jolt and wanted to see Deemi.

Tax cut adds fuel to fire services’ budget crunch

My grandkids like to look at the fire trucks.. so when we get a chance we visit the stations and the kids ask questions.

As far as over staffed due to the amount of fires they have.. give me a break.. If that is all you think they do.. then I understand why your name is joker.. cause you didnt pay attention to get the right information.. Alot of the fire departments around here are now crossed trained as paramedics.. So they dont just sit around until a fire happens.. They also goto calls if some one is having a heart attack or injured.. Most of the fire departments in Lee County have paramedics on the fire trucks now.. I found out why too.. because the ambulance is not always in the area to respond.. but the fire department is staffed with the men and women with the same training..

Could the Irish scupper the Lisbon Treaty?

While European politicians were most nervous about the prospect of a British referendum, an Irish “No" is not an impossibility.

Of course, the Irish rejected the Nice treaty in 2001. The Irish government broadly blamed it on a lack of time spent campaigning and will not make the same mistake again.

Although after the Nice “No" they were required to vote again, I am pretty sure that would be impossible in the current climate.

So an Irish “No" would be a very serious business. It would surely kill off the treaty of Lisbon, as surely as the French and Dutch killed off the constitution.

Which would leave the leaders of the EU is a very tricky position: would they really spend the next two years trying to tweak the text again so that it looked sufficiently different, to go through the whole process again?

Rejection signs?

Some are already suggesting the foundations for rejections are there.

I've seen numerous cases that have come through here, where people have been charged under very questionable circumstances with DUIs," Tillman says. "In this particular case, within a few days, the sheriff's department had in their hands a report saying she was legally drunk."

And yet they haven't charged her.

"I have a serious problem with that," Tillman says.

No one is saying that Wilkerson should face no penalty. Prosecutors, for example, could have charged him with leaving the scene of an accident, and it's hard to imagine the Reverend Oscar Tillman getting involved.

But manslaughter? Twenty-one years in prison?

Tillman began contacting the Sheriff's Office in August. He says he hasn't asked them to drop charges against Wilkerson, but he wants to know when they're going to charge Varker.

Oscar Viewers Got Clipped, In More Ways Than One

It happens that the Coen Brothers got their start in the movie business with help and support from Jim and Ted Pedas, Washington real estate investors who owned the beloved Circle Theater on Pennsylvania Avenue in the '50s, '60s and '70s. It has since been torn down and an ugly office building erected in its space. The Coens generally make cynical, gloomy movies, with the exception of the breakneck comedy "Raising Arizona."

There were several references to the recent strike by the Writers Guild of America, which, if it had continued, might have meant canceling the 80th Oscars altogether or putting on a much reduced and postponed show later in the year. Actually, that might have been a pleasant change and a blessed relief from the bloated show and the effusive windbags making speeches that Americans endure annually, even as the number of other awards shows on television has grown exponentially.

Teachers leave Houghton for classrooms on Alaskan island

Literally it is right in the middle, but it's also where people go for their recreation," Nikki Lishinski said.

Movies are shown there. School carnivals are a big draw.

Sometimes, the school has Pizza Hut pizzas flown in for fund-raisers and these command hefty prices.

"People will pay $25 for a pizza, easily," Williams said.

Crowds come out for high school basketball games, too, though the Sea Parrots have to be creative to find opponents so far from the mainland.

"The high school basketball team will play the Coast Guard, they'll play the teachers," Steve Lishinski said.

The big rivalry is with the Seal Pups, the team from St. George.

"The competitive spirit is definitely there," Steve Lishinski said.
